This quick-start guide shows you how to set up your Landlord account so you can make the most out of the app. Manage payments, handle maintenance, share documents, and stay organised—all in one place.
To begin using your Landlord account, you'll just need a mobile number.
Once entered, you can quickly review and accept our Terms and Conditions.
From there, simply add a few more details to get your account fully set up.
The entire process takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
To start collecting rent, simply link your bank account in the Quaga app.
Quaga uses a compliant and regulated payments provider to process all transactions securely.
• Rent paid by Tenants is transferred directly into your linked bank account.
• Transactions are safe, seamless, and fully compliant with financial regulations.
• Setup takes just a few minutes and only needs to be done once.
Note: You'll need an active bank account in your own name (or your business' name if you're a company Landlord).
Add your rental property by entering the address, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and any other relevant details.
You can also upload property photos to make your listings more attractive.
Include important details like parking availability, pet policies, and amenities.
Note: To delete a property, you must first remove the tenancy associated with it.
You can set up a tenancy with or without an end date.
Open-ended tenancies automatically renew each month.
At present, only the lead Tenant is responsible for rent payments—if multiple Tenants live at the property, one should be appointed as the lead Tenant.
To end a tenancy, tap 'End tenancy'.
Please note this does not legally terminate a tenancy contract. Legal termination must follow local regulations.
The Payments tab lets you see the rent status for all your properties—what's been paid, and what's outstanding.
View detailed payment history for each property and tenant.
Download payment receipts and generate financial reports.
Set up automatic rent reminders for tenants.
Track late payments and manage payment disputes.
Tenants can raise detailed maintenance requests directly from the app.
Landlords can then review and update these as resolved once handled.
Add photos and detailed descriptions to track maintenance history.
Assign maintenance tasks to contractors or service providers.
If any request violates the platform's safety or trust standards, it can be reported.
Use the Documents section to securely share important files like tenancy agreements, safety certificates, invoices, images, and manuals.
Just tap 'Upload,' select a file, assign a category, and link it to a property or Tenant.
Organize documents by property, tenant, or document type.
Set document expiration reminders for certificates and licenses.
Share documents securely with tenants and other stakeholders.
